The rules: 1) No judgement should be passed as to whether these are "ugly" basses. Just weird. Likely beautiful. (pretty sure this is a forum rule anyway). 2) Interesting looking standard basses (like a Jazz bass with a wacky paint job and hardware) are ONLY permitted if they're REEEEAAAALLY WEIRD LOOKING. I'll let you be the judge of that.
